It depends, do you want to side with the Night Mother and installments of The Elder Scrolls will no longer have an assassins quest line for it being cannon that it died out in Skyrim .-. so what happens if i let him live and what happens if i kill him .-.
Ive just started the quest where you have to go find Cicero and kill him, however ive gone back to the main questline. Was fighting a Dragon and i summoned the Spectral Assassin that Astrid gave me. And after i killed the Dragon he was still alive, turns out he doesn't go away until he is defeated which took AGES and boy, he does not shut up.
And poor Cicero is so, so lonely and delightfully insane. Edit: Oh, I thought we were still talking about Cirero.
